In order to take advantage of the flexibility of Twitter as a platform, Tweet Cascade is managed entirely through Twitter Direct Messages. All you have to do is send a Direct Message to your Cascade account in one of the listed command formats listed below and Tweet Cascade will handle the rest!
Important note! All commands begin with a /. If you begin a Direct Message with a /, but don't intend it to be a command, you will get an error message.
- /addfriend <name>
-
Causes your Cascade account to follow new users.
You can add as many friends at one time as you want, simply list them all in one go, separated by spaces.

/addfriend bob sally jill zach - will make your Cascade account follow four different Twitter accounts: "bob", "sally", "jill", and "zach". - /dropfriend <name>
-
Causes your Cascade account to unfollow the listed users.
You can drop as many friends at one time as you want, simply list them all in one go, separated by spaces.
Examples:
/dropfriend tweetcascade - will make your Cascade account unfollow the Twitter account called "tweetcascade".
/dropfriend bob sally jill zach - will make your Cascade account unfollow four different Twitter accounts: "bob", "sally", "jill", and "zach".
More commands are coming! Just as soon as we figure out what needs to get implemented first. If you've got a request, let us know!
